Odoo Training for an NGO

Summary: We have a team of 4 volunteers who need to be trained on Odoo development. These volunteers are skilled software engineers with extensive experience in a variety of platforms like ASP.Net, Python, Machine Learning etc. Their level of expertise in Python varies from expert to beginner. The beginners are self-training on python and will also learn on the job during Odoo training. Currently, they are familiar with the basic concepts of Odoo, Odoo models and relationships and how to make basic views for different models in Odoo. What we want to learn: We are looking to learn how to create interlinked forms in Odoo - similar to how the PO, Goods Receipt Notes and Vendor Bills are linked to each other. We want to understand the creation of more complex views. An example of this would be to have our own customized pop-up for selecting items by lots or serial numbers in a stock transfer form, where the available lots/serial numbers in selected locations are shown along with details like the rate of the lot, expiry date, quantity in hand. We also might want to add filters in this pop-up based on various criteria. Understanding Odoo Access control in more detail. How to extend existing modules like inventory, purchase, manufacturing to add our custom fields, functionality, calculations and validations. Odoo UI - how to introduce our custom views in other modules - e.g. adding some extra fields, pop-ups, wizards. How to create dashboards and reports in Odoo for various modules. How to make APIs to share reports and also share some functionality with our other systems. How we want to learn: We are looking for hands-on training. For certain aspects, if the trainer can design some exercises and train us on those, that will be ideal. For other things, we want to be able to create a complex module by ourselves (e.g. a Fixed Asset module that's tightly integrated with the purchase and inventory modules and our own RFID app). We would like the trainer to check and improve our model design, help us where we are stuck in development and review code. For certain modules that are already made, we will need help solving bugs that our own team can't resolve. Ideally, we want 4-5 sessions of 1-2 hours a week, after 8 pm (or 10 pm) on weekdays. On weekends, the timing can be adjusted based on the convenience of the trainer and our volunteers. There are 3-4 developers. We ideally want at least 2 of us to be present during these training sessions. we are open to paying higher fees for appropriate candidates. Regards,
