Let's start with the basics: my team and I are experts at finance. I worked at a major venture debt provider, working on software to help analysts understand various venture debt deals. A teammate of mine worked at Jack Henry for over 10 years, and was an integral part to the development of their telephone banking software, allowing customers to initiate financial transactions with their bank over the phone. Finance and money is absolutely critical software to get right. Between our combined years of industry experience, as well as a solid computer science background from Northeastern University, I believe my team and I are right for the job.
I had a thought on your language of choice. On the one hand, Node.js is awesome for real-time web - perfect for your chat and real-time analytics. On the other, I'm not sure I would trust an untyped language with critical financial data. That said, there are great tools out there to help circumvent this, like TypeScript. In our initial consultation, we'll help uncover and prevent potential pitfalls like these, come up with a solid roadmap for feature implementation, as well as a roll out to production. I'd ideally like to see the project completed in 2 months or less, but scope creep or other factors could lead to some delay in a launch.
Thanks for your time and consideration, and we look forward to hearing from you.
