I am interested in finding someone who has expertise in developing add-on's for Firefox or IE. Also this plugin will need to have its backend in either Google App Engine or Amazon Simple DB. If you do not have this expertise please do not respond. If you do have the expertise then please provide URL's to the plugins that you have developed. Start your response with 'Dear Sarabas' so that I know your read this description.
I am interested in creating a plugin that shows up on the left edge of the browser viewport (I will provide mock-up) and on it has a Like and Dislike button that when it gets clicked it sends the data back back to our database. The plugin needs to be extremely fast, operate asynchronously, and be able to retrieve the latest vote counts for each webpage that the user visits.
Also when the user first installs the plugin, they will be required to login using FB and then they will get assigned a random application key that will be unique to their facebook userid. The user will not have to login with Facebook again in the future. The purpose of the application key is to prevent a user from voting multiple times for the same page and also to allow us to show to the user whether they voted or not for each page that they visit.
