I have a problem. I use VMWARE WORKSTATION for desktop windows. I create a VM with Windows 7, then create clones of this VM which all contains the same HWID - but if I transfer these VMs to another machine, the HWID changes, I managed to find what appears to be the file for the HWID it sets, but it never saves the changes I make. Basically I need to know how I can keep the same HWID on all VMS no matter what machine the clone is installed on.
