The processes of an information system of medical devices (Medical Information System, MIS) need to be designed using a diagramming software: ARIS software ([login to view URL]), and the interdepartmental information flow pathways need to be described. The technology of Business Process Modelling (BPM) should be used. Several standards should be used (e.g. BPMN, Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), Web Services Choreography Description Language (WS-CDL), XML Process Definition Language (XPDL)) as well as specific languages (such as Architecture of Integrated Information Systems (ARIS) and Java Process Definition Language (JBPM)). Deliverable must be all MIS processes presented in the ARIS software and their interconnections, comprising , as well as a report describing it. Optional: the XML file derived from the ARIS software
