Easy8 computer simulator: There must be a simulator to run programs in assembler Easy8. From a drawing file with a program in assembler text must assemble and codify the program, later to allow step by step or complete execution, showing the state of memory in a graphical interface. The Easy8 computer is a simple 8-bit computer training, fully defined. The objective of this project is to develop a graphical simulator that allows see as an assembler instruction is executed on the data path of Easy8. The user enters the schedule with the activation of the control signals and simulator shows how they act the functional units of the data path as they progress clock cycles. We also have to develop all the memory associated with that program.

This is possible with Any GUI language(Java, Python, Ruby) and debugging tool GDB on linux platform. But I need to understand little more how you want to show as GUI. Do we need to show for any processor architecture? I understand we should provide the input functionality for singaling and step by step execution. But what about the execution delay of each assembly instruction? It is possible to show the memory usage of each segments in real time. But Do you want to show the memory profile as well for the program?
