I need a small program that can log when one or more UNC paths (shares) are online and offline. Data can be stored on file or in Microsoft SQL DB. The program should enable the user to add one or more UNC paths (shares) and save what’s added to file so that the configuration can be loaded (to avoid that user must add one or more shares every time the program is started. The last config should be loaded on startup. When user add UNC (share), the program should validate that it is an existing share. Same with the username added. As an alternative the user can browse for share. The report for each share added should contain a list showing when UNC/share was available and when it was unavailable. I have tried to explain in the attached images. The purpose is to test and document when UNC/share is unavailable. To test if UNC/Share is available you can use any method like writing a small file and delete it or any other way that can confirm its accessible. Code should be C# and I expect it to have exception handling and please write code according to good practices and standards. REF: [login to view URL]
