Linux streaming server setup to stream live streams

We need a streaming server setup and configured to stream . It must stream from other live feeds as in http://*...*.asf or .asx or mms://***linktoolivefeed/ . NOTE: We dont want to stream local files but only live feeds . NOt simple redirection but the feeds must be downloaded and then uploaded live to the users . Include in your bid: Which streaming server you intend to use? And modifications required to that script for this requirements .
