Hello potential employer, I'm a transcription based in the US with over 10 years' experience. I've worked with many different accents, including British English. I strive for 100% accuracy, and am dedicated to meeting deadlines. My standard rate is $.85US per audio minute. My bid is structured on 10 hours at that rate, with a time frame for one module (which I'm guessing is one hour). Since you don't have a specific number of minutes stated, I would invoice you through Freelancer after each module is complete. You would then pay for only the audio minutes you send for transcription. I've done this with previous projects, and it works out quite well for both parties. This also means my bid is an estimate, not the final cost. Your transcript will be formatted in a Word document, and unless you have specific requirements, will be Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1 inch margins, spaced to provide good readability. The text will be formatted with logical paragraph breaks, to avoid one long paragraphed document. Also any words or phrases not understood or which are unintelligible will be marked in the document.
