Or "move the whole staircase closer to the north wall", or "make that landing a little more triangular", or "recess the balustrade into the wall", etc., etc. Note that someone has already tried to do this for me, but it was difficult to get it looking nice and smooth using Revit, Sketchup and 3DS Max. For example, the balustrades and the underside of the stairs looked rough. So I couldn't imagine what it will look like in reality nor what the builder will actually build. So maybe we need to use a different type of 3D software that is more suitable for this type of detailed, smooth, granular design? (and which can export a 3D DWG file to be imported into the Revit model of the house). Thank you....
