Hi This can be done in a numerous amount of ways, the underlying logic will rationally be the same. The platform can vary ofcourse, I am proficcient with Oracle sql, mysql, access, foxpro and T-SQL. If you are not willing to pay the license fees for Oracle then mysql is a tangible solution however the security is less intense in mysql. There are many stages to reach deployment of such a database and realizing your data set will be quite huge can you provide a rough figure on what type of size the test data will be. I am a professional IT solutions services provider with experience in data systems and OOL aswell as web development, so please rest assured that I am aware this is not a small project. The initial stage would be strategy following this would be to understand the data to be stored and queried then to implement strategy and rationalize any normalization which is necessary to avoid storage of unnecessary data or/ and out of date information. Following this would be testing and modifying where necessary. All forms etc will be created to your requirements as should be user friendly and all buttons the likewise.
