I've been studying English grammar as both a first and second language for many years. I am currently completing my last year of college (high school in the American system) at an American school. I have four years of tutoring experience and despite the fact that I am not an American native, English is my first language as I am originally English (although I speak U.S. English). I am a 17 year old girl, so I would fit your preference of having a young girl as a tutor. Looking forward to working with you!

Hello! I am a native American English speaker. I have been tutoring children since I was in college. My last job was in an after-school program where we worked hard to make learning fun. I know lots of fun word games and websites for your daughter. I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to middle school students from China and I have worked with ESL students through Girl Scouts. Let's start with a Skype video interview. I would like to talk to you and your daughter and see what her English level and interests are. Sample activities would be filling in blank song lyrics, vocabulary quizzes, spelling games, reading a short story and just enjoying conversation. I will create and deliver 5 custom 1-hour lessons on video, complete with worksheets to do later. As a book editor, I know lots of great stories for every age. I am a young woman who loves teaching and will make a real improvement in your daughter's English skills.

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to propose myself to become your teacher. As a native English speaker born and raised in the UK, my English (written and spoken) is of a very standard. In recent years, I have been specialising within the English department in a secondary school helping students exceed their targeted grades at various levels. Besides my work in a mainstream school, I have worked with young persons as a private tutor since 2014, where I have helped the students to achieve their targets. Recently, I have been supporting a young person in the run-up to his secondary school exams. I am passing on my knowledge for the student to interpret poems in accordance with the syllabus. Additionally, I have recent experiences with teaching online. Since 2017, I have been involved in supporting students such as Bruce, aged 6, online. Within this short-term role, I was able to significantly improve the reading and comprehension skills. Lately, I have been teaching English to students from China and Taiwan, up to 30 hours a week at an established English tutoring website. I have taught children and adults, individually and in groups of up to 6 at a variety of abilities. Teaching students from China means I have a strong understanding of the culture and challenges of Chinese students when learning English. I have now delivered more than 800 recorded sessions online.
