In addition to the translations on freelancer, I also translated a software user manual (~100 pages) and also a service instruction manual for a 6 piston pump hidraulic brake system, when I worked as an Engineer in Automotive. dear sir or madam, i'm a professional german native translator with fluent English. i have many years of experience in this field and have worked on several projects via freelancer.com. my standard rate for translations into German (standard difficulty level) is $0.06 per word. for documents in the technology, IT, medical or financial sector or with a higher effort of editing like in-code translation etc. i would charge up to $0.10 per word. my bid of $30 is including 10% ($5) freelancer fees and covers the translation of ca. 660 words into German - depending on topic and difficulty level. for new customers i give a special one-off welcome discount: the first 500 words are 50% off! i could finish and deliver the translation of ca. 200 words from EN > DE in about 1 working hour. the turnaround of small projects is usually 24 hours.
