Hello I have 2 dedicated servers. I need help moving 7 copies of the cms system AbleCommerce from one server to the next. Currently the systems either have a built in database or a separate one in sqlserver2005 express. The original machine is a windows 2003 based system. The new server is windows 2008 based and runs express 2008. I have a fresh copy of the ablecommerce software running on the new server, however need help in transferring/ reinstalling the 7 older websites software as well as migrate their databases to sql 2008 express from 2005. Hello, alright another AbleCommerce Project here. To make a long story short I previously had this system modified, the modification had to do with 2 areas. #1. The built in affiliate link system. #2. The categories of products. We created a function that allowed us to control which categories of products you saw according to the affiliate link you use to reach the site. We made a back door admin controller to set these properties. The system does work however we had never made a "data managing" area for this information. To make a long story short we want to use the ecommerce “product “? engine /database to create a business directory. Each business would be managed using the existing product manger built into the system: essentially each product would be a separate business listing which we could use the cms system to categorize and edit as we choose. Hello, I use an ASP.net program called ablecommerce. Anyhow my client sells energy efficient lighting, she wants to create an easy to use "energy savings" calculator for the site. I have an image of how the table should be laid out and a Photoshop file with all the layered images buttons etc. Also we have all? of the energy readings. #1. I need the asp.net calculator and I would prefer it was added as a “conlib?? so I could call for it throughout the website. #2. The system can manage these people from an admin page in the back end, as well as they can login to check their orders. I had a coder create a database listing page that would list the orders placed on the website by 2 snippets of data saved when the order is placed. #1. list by Affilate ID "this is just a unique number" ...paypal orders are entered in slightly diffrent so additional coding is needed.
