We are trying to automate the visual assessment and certification of vehicle damage. Damaged cars are our input. To validate the vehicle damage, we will divide the problem into 3 steps: 1. We will determine whether or not the input of the car has been damaged. 2. Then we check which part of the car in the image has been damaged. 3. Then we are going to check for the severity of the damage to the car. CNN will be used here because our challenge is a classification problem, and we will be working with a lot of photos as input.
