Transmits a block of data on COMx out of a prefilled buffer, while receiving on COMx (same port) into another buffer, then waits, then compares the two buffers, counts and reports any errors, then cleans up and does it again. Very simple! I am looking for someone who actually knows how to send data to a COM port and how to receive data from a COM port AND WHO HAS DONE THIS BEFORE. I am supplying MS VC++ sources from another program, which does mostly work, but while the transmission is done right, the reception is not. I have windows pc connected to Orange Cube autopilot. I can recieve telem data to pc via mavproxy via com port connection... What I cannot do is send that data to a UDP IP address on same network. Mavproxy always says "waiting for heartbeat from comm port". It is now beyond my experience so looking for someone to support remotely and provide advice. This is probably ongoing work for someone with the right programming skills. Much if it is Python. Is this something you can help with? Nick

The software is working and there are ways to use it even with the bugs, but it is time to fix them. 1. First bug is that the parallel threads open largish files in parallel as each thread requires. This would work faster if the parallel files were opened serially (because of the way Windows works). 2. The results are written to an SQL (SQLite) They work fine for opening one batch of files at a time, but have a bug that comes into play when multiple files are opened.
