Technically I do not need a recorded file - I need an AudioRecord object returned that I can plug into my current code so I can process the phone audio NOTE: This is not for voice but for things like dial tones etc so AudioSource.VOICE_RECOGNITION does not work because it seems to block / noise cancel the audio I need.
